Thunderstorm warning issued for Cork and Waterford tonight

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Thunderstorm warning for Cork and Waterford.

The weather warning is for heavy showers with localised thunderstorms and the warning is valid from 10pm tonight until 3am tomorrow morning.

Met Éireann says that possibe impacts include spot flooding and lightning damage.
