Cork camogie club draws: Everything you need to know about the 10 grades

Once again SE Systems are on board to sponsor all the camogie championships at adult and minor level and with the draws made the countdown is on to the action.

Down through the years, SE Systems have been wonderful sponsors of the championship and their is vital. With dates to be announced and ratified in the coming weeks clubs are now all preparing for what will be a busy few months.

The draws and groups are as follows.

SENIOR:

In senior five groups of four clubs teams, and two divisional groups of three.

Group A: Sarsfields, Killeagh, Aghabullogue, Éire Óg.

Group B: St Finbarr's, Blackrock, St Catherine’s, Inniscarra.

Group C: Cloughduv, Ballinora, Courcey Rovers, Glen Rovers. 

Divisional Group 1: Carbery, Seandún, Muskerry.

Divisional Group 2: Carrigdhoun, Avondhu.

PREMIER INTERMEDIATE:

In Premier Intermediate there are 12 teams in three groups of four.

Group A: Ballinhassig, Charleville, Watergrashill, Newcestown.

Group B: Enniskeane, Ballyhea, Ballincollig, Clonakilty.

Group C: Fr O'Neills, Na Piarsaigh, Brian Dillon’s, Ballygarvan.

INTERMEDIATE:

At this grade, there is just one group. Sliabh Rua, Newtownshandrum, Valley Rovers, Kilbrittain/Timoleague, Douglas, Ballinascarthy, Sarsfields 2.

PREMIER JUNIOR:

Eight teams in two groups of four as follows.

Group A: Carrigaline, Tracton, Midleton, Castlelyons.

Group B: Mallow, Aghada, Bishopstown, Milford.

JUNIOR A:

Two groups, with five clubs in each.

Group A: St Fanahan's, Bride Rovers, Kildorrey, St Vincent’s, Buttevant.

Group B: Youghal, Banteer, Rockbán, Erins Own, Blarney.

JUNIOR B:

Two groups with four in each group.

Group A: Kilbree, Cobh, Kilworth, Grenagh.

Group B: Kinsale, Nemo Rangers, Millstreet, Barryroe.

JUNIOR C:

Two groups with four in each group.

Group A: Dungourney, St Colum's, Laochra Óg, Bandon.

Group B: Castlemartyr, Fermoy, Carrigtwohill, age West.

BARRY O'SULLIVAN JUNIOR CUP:

One group featuring Blackrock, Eire Óg, Iniscarra, Sarsfields, Aghabullogue.

LILLIE O'SULLIVAN JUNIOR CUP:

Ten teams in two groups of five.

Group A: Glen Rovers, St Catherine's, Ballinora, Enniskeane, Newcestown.

Group B: Courcey Rovers, Cloughduv, Killeagh, Douglas, Ballincollig.

LILY GRANT JUNIOR CUP:

Eight teams in two groups.

Group A: Barryroe, Aghbullogue, Valley Rovers, Na Piarsaigh.

Group B: St Fanahan's, Tracton, St Finbarr's, Bishopstown.

JUVENILE LEAGUES 

The juvenile leagues are reaching a conclusion and the U14 Premier 1 final saw Inniscarra record a 3-4 to 1-5 victory over Watergrashill. 

The U14 A league has reached semi-final stage where Éire Óg will meet Fermoy and Castlemartyr will take on Newtownshandrum. In the U14 B semi-finals, Castlelyons will play Newcestown and Bishopstown meet Kilworth. 

At U14 C, Crosshaven take on Tracton and Dungourney will meet either Blackrock or Ballinascarthy.

CORK POC FADA:

Cork held their Poc Fada in Éire Óg recently with over 20 participants taking part across U16 and Over 16 categories. 

In the Over 16 category the winner was Rachael Murray (Éire Óg) with the runner-up Leah Lehane from Millstreet. 

The U16 winner was Lexi Manley from Aghabullogue with Stephanie Dwyer, Douglas, the runner-up. The four girls now go forward today to represent Cork at the Munster Poc Fada in Galbally, Limerick.
